John Carullo

John Carullo is Co-Founder and CEO of Strategic Medical Marketing, bringing decades of experience in building, scaling, and optimizing physician-based practices.

He is also a co-founder of GetHairMD, where he previously served as President and Chief Innovation Officer, helping scale the platform into a nationally recognized physician-based hair restoration network and driving the development of its core clinical and business model.

John is the original developer, manufacturer and distributor of the Sunetics in-office Clinical Hair Growth Laser — the first FDA-cleared clinical device for promoting hair growth and treating androgenetic alopecia in both men and women.

He has led the development of multiple FDA-cleared medical devices within the hair restoration category and was the recipient of four U.S. patents in medical laser technology.

John has owned and operated 13 hair restoration clinics across the United States and has spent years helping physicians implement treatment programs that combine strong clinical outcomes with measurable business performance.

In addition to his clinical and operational background, John owned and operated a direct response advertising agency focused on generating patient demand and delivering measurable return on marketing investment.

Carrie Carullo

Carrie Carullo is Co-Founder and President of Strategic Medical Marketing and brings a rare combination of clinical experience, operational leadership, and proven revenue development within physician practices.

She spent 15 years as a surgical assistant in a plastic surgery practice, giving her a deep understanding of patient care, surgical workflows, and the expectations of both physicians and patients.

Carrie was also an owner and key operator in building a 13-location clinic network, where she helped develop the patient experience, consultation systems, and revenue frameworks that supported multi-location growth.

She began as the first in-clinic sales consultant and advanced to VP of Sales and Sales Trainer, implementing high-performing consultation systems across all locations.

She has been directly involved in enrolling approximately 6,000 patients into treatment programs, giving her deep insight into patient decision-making, conversion, and retention.

In addition, Carrie built and managed a 100-person call center operation, designed to capture inbound patient demand, improve scheduling efficiency, and ensure consistent conversion from inquiry to consultation across multiple locations.
